Simple Home’s advertising platform uses Google OAuth and the Google Ads API to access Simple Home’s Google Ads account. We use that access to create, manage, and measure listing advertisements on Google, including Search and Demand Gen campaigns.
Information we may access or keep includes Google Ads account identifiers, campaign and related advertising resource identifiers, and campaign performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, and spend. Credentials used for this access are stored securely as server-side application secrets and are not stored in seller or buyer account profiles.
We use this information to operate, manage, and measure Simple Home listing advertisements and related advertising services. API requests are sent to Google to perform these advertising operations. Simple Home does not sell Google Ads account data.
When you visit Simple Home, we may use first-party cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors discover our website and which Simple Home pages or marketing campaigns lead to customer signups.
These technologies may record information such as the page where you first entered the Simple Home website, the date of that visit, and campaign information included in the link you used, such as source, medium, campaign, content, or search-term identifiers.
Simple Home may retain this information and associate it with your account if you later create one so we can understand which marketing efforts lead to customers and improve how we promote Simple Home.
Our current first-party acquisition attribution does not store your password, payment information, property-access information, or private communications in the attribution cookie, and the attribution information is not sent by this feature to third-party advertising platforms.

Simple Home may use first-party browser storage and similar technologies to understand how visitors interact with an individual property. This can include property visits, return visits, engagement with property materials, opening the showing scheduler, showing requests, and offer-related progression.
We use this first-party information for operational and analytical purposes: to present the home, prevent abuse, coordinate legitimate showings and offers, and understand how our marketplace is working. This measurement is separate from a seller’s ability to launch or operate a listing.
Today, Simple Home measures property interaction for first-party operational and analytical purposes. Simple Home does not currently publish advertising audiences, and does not currently send this property-interest information to advertising platforms for retargeting.
In the future, Simple Home may use qualifying interest in an individual property to show advertising for that same property, subject to your Privacy Choices, applicable law, and platform requirements. Any such advertising would be limited to the property you interacted with, not a pool of other homes or a general buyer profile.
You can choose whether this browser may be used for targeted-advertising purposes. That choice is anonymous and does not require an account, email, or phone number. Simple Home honors this preference through its internal eligibility controls. Opting out of targeted-advertising use does not prevent you from viewing homes, requesting a showing, or submitting an offer.
